1time ups flights over December

1time Airline has increased the number of flights available in its December schedule.

The airline is now offering 52 additional flights on the George-Johannesburg route, 16 extra flights between Cape Town and East London, 32 more flights between Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, as well as 26 additional frequencies between Johannesburg and East London.

CEO, Rodney James, says the increase across the carrier’s schedule was effected to offer passengers more flexibility over the holiday period.

“We understand that the end of year period is a busy time for travellers and therefore 1time undertook the strategic decision to increase the number of daily flights available in December.  This increase supports domestic tourism, and affords our leisure and business travellers more flexibility.”

He further notes that the decision to increase flights was not only motivated by an increased customer demand that normally accompanies the December period, but general market optimism as well.
