Avalon Waterways will introduce a new Active Discovery cruise on the Rhine in 2018. This follows the success of this year’s Active Discovery series on the Danube.
Travellers on the new cruise will be able to choose energetic options like hiking or biking their way through scenic and historic wonders, or opt for more traditional sightseeing activities. Hands-on activities will enable travellers to spend time with locals while learning about different traditions and cultures.
All ships are equipped with bicycles for travellers to use on their own or on guided bicycle excursions.
