African Anthology moves into Bots

ELEPHANT Valley Lodge in Botswana has been added to the African Anthology collection, making it the first property for the company in that country. The lodge is a 40-bed tented camp and is located in the Kasane Forest Reserve, adjacent to the Chobe National Park. Activities include morning river cruises with high game viewing as the river is generally free of boat activity. Guests can also be taken into the Chobe National Park in the afternoon when the park is quieter and game more abundant. Guests return through the forest reserve, ensuring game viewing along the way. The company has introduced an ‘Angels and Elephants’ air transfer service between Livingstone and Kasane. The service allows guests to be met at Livingstone Airport by their pilot before being flown over the Victoria Falls and continuing at low altitude along the Zambezi River before arriving at Kasane Airport. Guests are then collected and transferred to in an open vehicle to Elephant Valley Lodge. (Darren Sandras) darrens@nowmedia.co.za
