Birchwood has expanded its services with the launch of its first airport office facility at OR Tambo International Airport.
The airport office forms part of the hotel’s new business development strategy to improve conference packages for the African and Asian business travel market and offers business facilities and transport to the Birchwood Hotel and Conference venue. The office also has Wi-Fi connectivity and serves as a business hub to all existing and future Birchwood and Soweto Hotel clients.
Said Greg Dillon, marketing and sales director of Birchwood: “We want to transport, accommodate and host conference goers in quality facilities, providing advanced technology and technical equipment.”
Clients are transported in the complimentary shuttle, with the first shuttle leaving at 06h10 and the last at 12h10.
The Birchwood Hotel and its sister hotel, the Soweto Hotel, can now extend their joint leisure and business packages with an all-inclusive package from OR Tambo International. The joint package includes business facilities at the airport office, transport to Birchwood Hotel, conferencing, and then transport to the Soweto Hotel for the Soweto conferencing and leisure experience. The packages will be customised to suit each group’s needs.
