Another ocean liner to dock in Cape Town

THE Marco Polo, a mid sized ocean liner and member of Orient Lines, will be visiting South Africa in November and December this year as part of its 21-day cruise from Barcelona in Spain to Cape Town. The company says the ship will then continue on an 11-day voyage to Mombasa in Kenya. The Marco Polo then makes a return 12-day 'Eclipse' voyage from Mombasa to Cape Town, arriving in Cape Town on December 10. She will sail again from Cape Town on December 12, 2002 on an 18 day voyage to Buenos Aires in Argentina and onward to Antarctica. Orient Lines offers in-depth cruise vacations - many of which include pre-and post-cruise hotel stays - to all seven continents. Orient Lines is represented in South Africa by American Express Travel Services in Cape Town. (Miguel de Sousa)
