Australian environmentalists schedule workshops for tourists

RENOWNED Australian environmentalists and poets, John Seed and Ruth Rosenhek, will present a rare workshop on their 'deep ecology' philosophy for tourists, tour operators and anyone working in the conservation field. The Rosenheks, who are also acclaimed musicians and tourism educators, will present the workshop Kwasuka Theatre in Greyville on November 16 immediately after attending the World Wilderness Congress. Their deep ecology philosophy attempts to dispel the illusion of a separation between the human and other species. The workshop will include slides of the world's rainforests, and a reinterpretation of the universal creation story. The KwaSuka presentation will cost participants R10 each, with bookings through Kibao Communications on +27-31 304-8935.
