BA cabin crew strike called off

British Airways (BA) cabin crew have suspended a planned four-day strike that was due later this week, BBC reports.

Around 2,900 staff had been due to walk out from Friday (June 16) in a long-running dispute about pay and benefits.

Negotiation talks will now be held to reach an agreement.

A strike may be called for a later stage should the talks fail.
