BA to rebrand

BRITISH Airways has confirmed that it plans re-launch its brand following its merger with Iberia.

At this stage the airline is keeping mum on the details, with more information to be made available in the European autumn.

A spokesperson for the airline said it was working on the re-launch with internal staff and later in the year would follow on with an advertising campaign.

In December, BA merged with Spanish carrier Iberia to form the joint parent company, International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG), headed by Willie Walsh.
