THE Russian Bolshoi Ballet Troupe, currently on a visit to South Africa, will tour Johannesburg on July 30. The troupe will be performing in Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and Johannesburg. They can be seen at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre between August 1-3. The dancers will take time out as tourists in the city and their day trip will include a shopping tour to local luxury ostrich product manufacturer, Via La Moda. The company is the world's leading manufacturer of luxury ostrich leather products, and has opened its doors allowing visitors to tour the manufacturing facilities and to purchase products direct. The Bolshoi Ballet Company will be celebrating its 225th anniversary while on tour to South Africa. (Miguel de Sousa)
