Brandy and wine flow in Soweto

THE Second Annual Soweto Wine and Brandy Festival will open on Friday September 1 and run until Sunday, September 3 at the University of Johannesburg’s Soweto Campus. Apart from the event showcasing South Africa’s wines and brandies it will aim to promote tourism and investment in Soweto. Thami Xaba, a founder of the festival, said, “Soweto is abundant with culture and metropolitan sophistication.
