Cathay checks in at OR Tambo

CATHAY Pacific is clamping down on its check-in, cancelled bookings and hand-luggage restrictions at OR Tambo. Only ticketed customers will be permitted into the area in front of the check-in counters and those carrying hand luggage in excess of the 7kg allowance will be charged and the baggage will be loaded into the hold of the aircraft. Due to an increase in the no-show rates on flights, the airline is requesting that any other bookings be cancelled if a passenger travels in advance of their confirmed date of departure. This will assist the airline in managing inventories, especially on full flights. Refer to Travelinfo for more details. Tessa Blane (tessab@nowmedia.co.za)
