Comair acquires shares in Holiday Tours

COMAIR Limited has announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in the Holiday Tours wholesale business effective April 6. According to a statement Comair plans to incorporate its advanced technology infrastructure into Holiday Tours which will assist the trade and real time booking functionality to all its point-to-point destinations. “Holiday Tours is an important link to the travel trade. We remain 100% committed to this channel and are excited to launch this new partnership with Holiday Tours which will improve our clients experience,” said Iain Meaker executive manager for travel at Comair. Holiday Tours said it will remain committed to its longstanding relationship with the retail travel trade on a national basis and the current management team will remain intact with Gavin Simpson as ceo, Otto de Vries as md and Andrew Millar for marketing.
