Concern raised over Concorde

CONCERN has been raised over an incident affecting a BA Concorde flight last Wednesday in which part of the aircraft’s rudder apparently fell off during en-route from London to New York . Reports from UK-based online publication, the ‘Times Online’, say that the plane managed a normal landing, however inspection of the aircraft showed that four of the rudders on the tail fin had gone missing while the plane was in flight. The reports say that this is the fourth incident to affect Concorde over the past six weeks. (Heather Ruddock)
