CAPE Town International has been ranked second in the ‘friendliness of staff’ category in the 2006 Skytrax World Airport Awards. Skytrax announced the best airports in the world, and the best airports according to specific categories following its independent passenger study conducted over a nine-month period. Nominations were gathered from over 7,2m air travellers in the 2006 study. The top airport in Africa for 2006 is Cape Town International, followed by Durban in second place and Johannesburg in third.
