Developments to boost Kgalagadi tourism

ADDRESSING delegates at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park’s 75th anniversary, Environmental Affairs and Tourism Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk said that government has invested R395m into the infrastructural development of the park. Plans are well under way to create more access to the park, such as the opening of the Mata Mata gate next year. The gate will incorporate a border post with Namibia and ties into a broader tourism development strategy. Jeanette Briedenhann (jeanetteb@nowmedia.co.za)
