The European Aviation Safety Agency has issued a directive requiring precautionary checks on brackets within the wings of certain Airbus A380 aircraft.
Singapore Airlines has advised that it is liaising closely with Airbus and is carrying out inspections in full compliance with the directive.
As checks are being carried out, the following flights normally operated with A380s will be temporarily operated with other aircraft:
SQ334 from Singapore to Paris from February 4-9 and SQ333 from Paris to Singapore from February 5-10 will be operated with B777-300ER aircraft.
*Have your clients expressed concerns about flying in the A380? What are you advising your clients? What would you like to know with regard to travelling on the aircraft?
