Durban hotel opens new wedding venue

THE Westville Hotel, situated between Durban and Pinetown in KwaZulu Natal, has constructed a new function room creating specifically for weddings. The venue has been created as a completely private room with direct access from the hotel's car park. Features include an outdoor courtyard at the entrance, a pitched roof, seating capacity for 150 guests with a dance floor and an adjoining room to cater for a full buffet. It is in keeping with the Cape Dutch style architecture of the hotel. "The wedding venue has been constructed to enhance The Westville Hotel as a wedding and functions venue," explained general manager, Jochen Chislett. "We have seen the demand for a function room of this type and now offer a truly magnificent and 'all-weather' setting for that special occasion," he added. (Miguel de Sousa)
