THE Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is presently running a promotion involving three Thai restaurants in Gauteng until the end of March, called ‘The Thailand Amazing Springroll Competition’. At a trade and media get-together at the Wangthai Thai Restaurant in Sandton this week, TAT representative in SA Michelle Colman thanked everyone for their support and encouraged participation in the competition, which could see a winner and partner off to Thailand following a lucky draw on April 5. Participants can also win weekly prizes of meals worth R500 at any one of these Thai Africa Restaurants: Soi in Melville or the Wangthai Thai Restaurants in Sandton and Brooklyn, Pretoria. To pick up competition forms, you’ll have to enjoy a meal at one of the above-mentioned restaurants, who will then process your entry. *Some 270 travel consultants throughout SA have commenced the first Thailand training course on TI Workshops On-Line that runs until the end of March. Agents completing the more advanced course, which runs throughout May and June, stand in line to win a trip to Thailand for two. (Kim Cochrane)
