Ellie return prompts interest

TWO African elephants, originally from Zimbabwe, are being returned from America to join Botswana's Abu Camp herd and, early next year - as part of the reunion - will be taking a special walk from Kasane to the Okavango Delta, passing through Botswana's Selinda Reserve in the first week of March.
"This will be a very special moment for any clients interested in seeing and being with elephants," says Brian Graham of Linyanti Explorations Botswana, who advises that operators might wish to take advantage of this special event by booking clients into one of Linyanti's three upmarket tented camps during this time.
Graham also comments that he has been really pleased with the way in which Linyanti's special packages have been going this year, adding that it will be introducing a "fantastic" safari next year which - starting in Lusaka and ending in Victoria Falls - will encompass Tena Tena in the Luangwa Valley, Sausage Bush, Tongabezi and Selinda.
"Agents should also note," he adds, "that a new seat-in plane air service between Kasane and Livingstone will cost only US$60.
