Eurostar adds another service

EUROSTAR is adding an 18th service in each direction on its London-Paris route on Mondays to Thursdays from September 8. Eurostar will also boost its weekend services, with up to 20 schedules on Fridays from London to Paris and 19 from Paris to London starting July 11. Extra trains are being added to meet the increasing demand from travellers, especially from regions north of London. The operator attributes the increased demand to improved fares introduced earlier this year and passengers’ demand to see the revamped St Pancras International. The addition of extra trains will mean that there is a half-hourly service between London and Paris during the morning and evening peaks, and close to an hourly service throughout the rest of the day.
