G Adventures launches river cruising

G Adventures has launched a new river cruise programme targeting younger travellers.

The nine itineraries vary in length from eight to 15 days and explore iconic waterways in Cambodia, France, India, Peru and Vietnam.

Each riverboat is purpose-built to create a “local” feel to the onboard environment. Every cabin has windows and a private bath and there are open deck spaces for travellers to enjoy the vistas.

Group sizes are small (22 to 30 passengers). A Chief Experience Officer, trained to develop guests’ understanding of the regions, leads each trip.

Departures begin in 2016 with the exception of the existing Amazon River Adventure, which is already running.
