ICC becomes WiFi enabled

DURBAN’S ICC will soon be WiFi enabled, providing Internet access in all public areas and immediate environs of the centre. Visitors who bring in their wireless capable devices will be able to surf the Internet in a secure wireless environment while taking a break or meeting with clients and colleagues. The ICC and adjacent Durban Exhibition Centre are set to become the best-connected venues in South Africa before Indaba 2006. A massive R460m expansion is underway at the ICC to be completed at the end of 2006, with an official February 2007 opening. (Natalia Thomson) natalia@nowmedia.co.za
