VIRGIN Atlantic is introducing a business-class-only fleet of 15 aircraft on the much-sought-after transatlantic route. A Virgin spokesperson said the business-only flights would begin in the next 12 to 18 months and would initially serve New York and then other US cities from Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, Zurich and London. Virgin may use some of its recently ordered B787s on these routes but is in negotiations with airline makers for an order of up to 15 new aircraft worth $700m (R4,9bn).
