KENYA Airways is launching a new weekly service between London Heathrow and Mombasa from December 9. David Granville, UK country manager for Kenya Airways said: “With the strong demand from customers connecting through our Nairobi hub to Mombasa, we are keen to offer them the choice of a direct flight where they can relax onboard a Boeing 777.” To provide more capacity from London to Kenya this year, the airline put a new B777-200ER on the route. With a 93% load factor reported on its UK flights in June 2005, the airline said it is keen to obtain more airport slots in order to increase its frequencies to more than 10 flights a week from London to Nairobi.
