I want to “out” the Nigerian Consulate. I have been struggling for over four years to have my R6 000 repatriation fee paid back from the Nigerian Consulate.
After my client returned from Lagos, I couriered a copy of the passport to the consulate, reflecting the stamp and confirming that my client had left Nigeria (as per the requirements).
Yet, after numerous attempts and even going as far as to hand-deliver the required documents to the consulate and numerous phone calls - four years later, the fee has still not been refunded.
I see this as robbery/stealing and the silent treatment received from them is disgraceful.
I would like to know if any other agents have experienced the same and what their experience dealing with the consulate has been like.
