New committee for Young Skål CT

YOUNG Skål International – Cape Town has announced its new committee for 2004/5. The new team is led by Kristen Pretorious, who said she is committed to encouraging young tourism professionals to build relationships within a social networking environment. The new team promises to involve young professionals entering the tourism industry by actively recruiting tourism and hospitality students from universities and technikons where the relevant courses are offered. “We hope to open the organisation up to recently qualified tertiary students and this is a whole new target market for us to reach,” said Adrian Kaplan, Young Skål marketing officer. All young tourism professionals are invited to join the new committee on September 2 for a game of ten-pin bowling in Stadium-on-Main, Claremont from 19h30.
