THE Hilton Sandton hotel has announced the promotion of Gerard Vingerling’s promotion to executive chef. According to Vingerling, he intends to “implement an innovative and creative direction to Tradewinds Restaurant and its menu.” The Hilton Sandton’s regular events also include a Latin American dinner dance on the last Saturday of every month at a rate of R165pp and the Oyster & Cape Sunday breakfast at a rate of R145pp. Every Thursday at the hotel’s Faces Bar is Ladies Night, where cocktails are only R15 each.
