New fly-in option for Lion Sands guests

SOUTH African Airlink and Mala Mala have agreed to form a partnership with Lion Sands Private Game Reserve allowing them to book their guests onto the direct scheduled flight between Johannesburg International Airport and the Mala Mala airfield. "The access to the Mala Mala airfield will not only mean a reduced airfare for guests coming to the lodge, but it will again allow for our clients, travel agents and tour operators to book the flights via Galileo. We are also pleased with the arrangement as it will add greater convenience to our visitors and are grateful to the Mala Mala management for this," says marketing director and owner of Lion Sands, Robert More. South Africa Airlink operates daily flights using 29-seater Jetstream 41 Turboprop aircraft into the Mala Mala Airfield. (Adele Mackenzie)
