New management company for Tanzania’s Royal Palm

FIVE-STAR Tanzanian property, Royal Palm Hotel in Dar es Salaam, has been sold to an international investor. Legacy Hotels and Resorts International’s management, marketing and administration responsibilities will therefore fall away and a new management company will take over these duties as of January 16. The incoming company has agreed to continue running the hotel with the existing team, with the exception of Adrian Landry, who will be relocating to South Africa to take up the position of general manager for The Michelangelo Towers and The Raphael Penthouse Suites in Sandton, due to be launched later in 2005.
