TRAVELQUALITY.com has named the winners of its Aviation Awards for 2003. The TravelQuality.com Aviation Awards invited travellers and visitors to its website to vote for their favourite airlines. In the six months up to November 30, some 21 371 votes were received. The winners in each category were: Best Long-haul Economy Class: American Airlines Best Long-haul Premium Economy Class: Virgin Atlantic Airways Best Long-haul Business Class: Virgin Atlantic Airways Best Long-haul First Class: Singapore Airlines Best Short-haul Economy Class: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Best Short-haul First/Business Class: Singapore Airlines Best Low Cost Airline: Virgin Blue Best Airport: Amsterdam Schipol (Miguel de Sousa)
