Outdoor expo targets KZN

THE Tourism KwaZulu Natal Outdoor Leisure Expo will be held at the Durban Shongweni Polo Grounds and the Shongweni Resource Reserve from July 28 - 30. According to the organisers, Conserve Events, the exhibition will feature land, water and air adventures focusing on conservation, travel tourism, lifestyle and leisure. The list of events is reportedly continuing to grow and visitors can try a number of disciplines including abseiling, horse trails, walking trails, 4x4 trails, a canoe clinic, paintball, gliding, go-carting and micro-lighting. Mike O'Brien, director of Conserve Events, says the show will be the largest of its kind ever to take place in the province and is expected to attract thousands of visitors. (Miguel de Sousa)
