CUNARD has made some changes to its ‘Pets on Deck” programme on board the Queen Mary 2. The programme is overseen by a full-time ‘Kennel Master’ that takes care of daily pet care responsibilities. Travelling dogs and cats will receive a complimentary gift pack featuring a QM2-logoed coat, Frisbee, name tag, food dish and scoop, portrait with pet owners, a crossing certificate and personalised cruise card. Also included are baked gourmet cookies and fleece blankets. Reservations for the kennels may be made at the time of booking for a fee ranging from $300 (R1 840) to $500 (R3 060).
