INTERNATIONAL and regional passenger arrivals at Acsa Cape Town International Airport increased by 14,4% in October compared with the same month last year. September saw similar growth, when visitor numbers increased by 15% compared with 2003. This growth is set to continue with a number of international carriers having increased their frequencies for the Christmas holidays, said Acsa Cape Town International. “We’ve had a hugely good winter and if the current growth is sustained through the summer peak, we should reach the six million passenger mark this financial year,” said Girish Gopal, Cape Town International acting gm.
