SCANDANAVIAN Airline, Scandanavian Air Systems (SAS), will introduce a new class, Economy Extra, later this year. The new class costs approximately 65% of the airline's business class fares and basically offers increased comfort in the form of specially designed seats with adjustable neck supports, wider seats and additional legroom as well a PC outlet. The new kit will be fitted to SAS's Airbus 340/330 used on long-haul routes. (Adéle Mackenzie)
