SQ to cut capacity

SINGAPORE Airlines has announced massive capacity cuts for 2009. International media are reporting that cuts are expected to be undertaken until March, with the airline intending to cut approximately 214 flights. It is, however, unclear exactly which services will be cut. Sally George, market development manager at Singapore Airlines confirmed that the cuts will not affect the carrier’s South African service.
