Strike delays 'Smart' graduation

THE Seychelles Tourist Office (STO) has postponed its "Smart" graduation function due to a host of factors beyond its control, said Jenny Kearney, Johannesburg-based head of the STO in South Africa. One problem is that the air traffic controllers strike in France has prevented graduate's manuals from being transported in time for the function. For this reason the STO has postponed the graduation function until January 23. *The "Seychelles Smart" programme is geared to make travel agents experts in selling the product. (Mark Gray)
