SUN International has opened the doors of its R151m casino development in Worcester – the Golden Valley Casino. Development of an 80-room hotel on the site is expected to begin early next year. Speaking at the opening, Golden Valley Casino gm, Felicia Roman, said: “By providing major new tourism and leisure industry infrastructure in a rural area like the Breede River Valley, the complex will draw visitors and new spending, creating jobs and opportunities for local businesses and suppliers.” The development has already created 316 new jobs, according to Sun International.
