Sure Tours workshops cancelled

SURE Tours has cancelled its planned South Africa, Africa and Indian Ocean Island workshops. Any bookings received will be refunded in full immediately. Miles Willis, md of Sure Tours, said the company had considered all the various comments received. “It is clear that many agents are not happy with paying an attendance fee since other workshops are offered free. It is also clear that, although there was some solid support for charging an attendance fee, we had poor bookings for the planned workshops.” After considering all the feedback, Sure Tours plan to implement the following solutions to product training: •The company proposes that its product managers develop presentations that can be taken around by business sales executives for demonstration in various agencies • In-house training can be held on dates and at times that suit agency owners, managers and staff. • This service can be carried out at Sure Tours agencies that are unable to attend central workshops because of distances to travel. • The company is exploring online training opportunities. • The company is exploring rewards for training such as awarding Agent Points.
