"Survivor" type incentive on offer

"BUSH Discoveries SA, a specialist bush skills company operating in southern Africa, has developed a unique 'Lost Desert Island' adventure for 2003. The programme is offered either as a company reward or travel incentive that takes place on the tropical island of Benguerra, near Vilanculos in Mozambique. The programme is tailored specifically to encourage greater personal and team performance in and out of the workplace. The team is flown by charter plane to Vilanculos where they depart by motorboat to the southern tip of Benguerra Island. 'Survival Scenarios' are given to them, with their mission being to evacuate an 'injured pilot' from a disused airstrip 36 hours later. Once the mission is accomplished, a high-speed motorboat rescue of the party takes place, bringing them to the luxurious Benguerra Island Lodge. (Miguel de Sousa)
