AS a result of the volatility in global trading conditions, affecting the oil price, Emirates has announced that it will now move away from its ‘fuel in fare’ policy and will implement this as a Q surcharge to be applied in the fare.
The change will be implemented effective from April 18, there will be no change to base fares, but the Q surcharge will reflect in the tax box.
This increase will affect all bookings made on or after April 18. Any un-ticketed bookings made prior to the 18th and that has not been issued yet, must be manually issued before April 30.
