TI Workshops On-Line to launch with string of workshops

THE Tourism Authority of Thailand has become the first body to sign up for Now Media's Travelinfo Workshops On-Line and will offer two workshops next year - one in February on general information and an advanced course in May. TI Workshops On-Line will launch on January 15, says Kay Benno, manager, with launch sponsors including Absolute Tours (focusing on training on the US, skiing and cruising) and Tour Travel & Accommodation, which will workshop on golf tourism and packages as part of its own launch. Another workshop to look forward to is one on Namibia in April, advises Kay. All workshop sponsors will offer substantial lucky draw prizes for travel consultants successfully completing the training such as trips to learn about destinations and products first-hand. In an additional lucky draw, TI Workshops On-Line will offer R1 000 every three months to those agents who have done the most workshops.
