Tourism Lekgotla targets 2010 goals

IN its quest to keep tourism stakeholders and product owners informed about developments and achievements in the province, and at the same time obtain feedback from the industry, North West Parks & Tourism Board (NWP&TB) will embark on its 7th Annual Tourism lekgotla, taking place today (September 1) at Hunters Rest Hotel in Rustenburg. The drive behind this year’s Lekgotla will focus on the upcoming 2010 World Cup. The lekgotla’s organising committee ensured that the day’s events would mainly focus on tourism and its role in the tournament. Rustenburg is being touted as one of the host cities for 2010, and the lekgotla will be used as a platform to lay a solid foundation for outlining marketing priorities in an effort to deliver a successful event.
