THE Olympus Dome, Caesars Gauteng’s indoor family entertainment centre, has been attracting thousand of visitors since it re-opened on December 17 last year. Caesars says on Christmas Day alone last year, some 2 500 people walked through the Dome’s doors. Some of its features include a 247-metre indoor roller coaster, a 12-car laser bumper car track, the Crazy Wave ride and the Max Flight VR2002 Roller Coaster Simulator. Also featured are approximately 200 of the latest and newest video and arcade games, virtual reality and simulator rides as well as children's rides. An entertainment programme featuring magic clown shows for the younger visitors and popular music artists for the teenagers has already proved another great draw card for the venue. The Olympus Dome World of Entertainment is open 24 hours a day and can be found adjacent to the fast food court in The Emporium retail centre. (Miguel de Sousa)
