Zanzibar power to be restored

A SOURCE has told eTNW that power was restored to Zanzibar today and the Norwegian engineers working on the problem will be testing the power supply over the next day. After a month without power, everything is expected to be up and running fully again by tomorrow. Heidi Strydom of Exotic Vacations has just returned from the island and says the entire island has been running efficiently off generators. “Not a single client has complained, from the ones staying in two-star hotels, to those staying in five star properties,” says Strydom.
