THE Zimbabwe-based, TA Holdings Group, plans to expand its hotel management services to Ghana, Malawi and Zambia. Group chairman, Shingai Mutasa, said the group's hotel management entity, Cresta, was already expected to start operations for a hotel in Lilongwe, Malawi called Cresta Crossroads, in the second half of the year. "This is part of our regional operation where we offer management services to those who want to buy our intellectual capital," he said. Companies make use of the group's central reservation system. Mutasa said a memorandum of understanding had been signed with potential hotel companies in Zambia and Ghana, and that a Ghanaian group was expected to finalise a contract soon.
