Qatar Airways’ destination management company, Discover Qatar, is to introduce new exclusive aerial sightseeing tours, Discover Doha by Air.

From June 27, tourists can enjoy a 45-minute guided aerial tour of all the city’s attractions.

The flight, operated by a Cessna 208 Caravan, will depart from Doha International Airport’s Premium Terminal and pass over Al Thumama Stadium, Aspire Zone, Education City, Lusail Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and Thakira Mangrove Forest.

Passengers will also see Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, Katara Cultural Village and West Bay. Before returning to the airport, the aircraft will offer an aerial view of Corniche, the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, and Stadium 974.

Bookings are available on the Discovery Qatar website and cost QAR710 (R3 580) for adults and children over two years of age. The tour is free of charge for children under two.

Seats can be reserved for morning and afternoon tours from Thursday to Monday. Guests can conveniently pair their air tour with Discover Qatar return airport transfers to and from the Premium Terminal, reports traveldailynews.com.

The experience is also available for passengers with a stopover of six hours or more at Hamad International Airport from a starting price of QAR850 (R4 285), including private return transfers between Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport.
