A new airline is set to take to the skies by the end of the year. Really Cool Airlines, based in Thailand has been created by former Nok Air CEO, Patee Sarasin.

The airline company, which has its roots in a video game where players could learn about flying aircraft, is about to apply for an air operating licence, and will confirm routes, including international flights, by the end of June.

“Our team is equipped with enthusiastic experts from around the globe, who are keen on areas like blockchain, GameFi (an online hub for game finance servicing blockchain gamers, investors and traders), ecosystem management, crypto, NFTs, and more,” says Sarasin.

He says his airline, under the slogan ‘We Fly the Future’ will fit between the luxury and budget categories.

According to The Nation, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt has welcomed the new airline.
