Airlink inaugurates CPT-MRU route

Airlink has launched a twice-weekly service between Cape Town and Mauritius with the first flight operating on October 2.

The route is Airlink’s first to Mauritius and provides passengers from the Western Cape a direct alternative to connecting through Johannesburg. It is operated using the airline’s new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which seats 124 passengers including 12 in business class.

Passengers receive a complimentary meal and beverage service and 15kg sporting equipment allowance with their checked baggage allowance.

Flights operate on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing from Cape Town at 10h05 and arriving in Mauritius at 17h15. The return flight will depart Mauritius at 18h15 on the same day and arrive in Cape Town at 22h35.
