Travel agents using Aeronology can now access Airlink's NDC content through the travel distribution platform, with booking and post-booking servicing available within the same system.
The new Airlink Direct Connect allows Aeronology users to shop and book Airlink flights, manage ancillary services and carry out servicing including voids, cancellations and schedule changes.
Airlink Senior Distribution Manager Joao Regal said ease of servicing was an important part of making NDC content useful to the trade.
“NDC lets us present our full fare and ancillary offering properly, but that content is only as valuable as the ease with which the trade can actually sell and service it.”
Aeronology launched in South Africa in August, offering agents access to GDS, NDC and low-cost carrier content through a single platform.
