BA makes major change to Executive Club

British Airways has announced that from 2025, the Executive Club loyalty programme will standardise the year of members' tiered point collections.

Currently, tier point collections run from the month of first joining for the next 12 months. The changes will fix the year for tier points collection from April 1 to March 31 to determine gold, silver or bronze status.

“This change will simplify the journey for Executive Club members by aligning all members to the same tier point collection year, making it easier to manage travel plans for yourself, colleagues, and family,” the airline said on its website.

Members who are not already on a collection from April to March will see that the year will be shortened as a once-off adjustment that will end on March 31, 2025. Any tier points earned from April this year will be added to the curtailed collection year, reports The Independent.
